Dr. Jasleen Jhajj is an Assistant Professor of pediatrics and binocular vision at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) College of Optometry. After graduating from the University of Waterloo with her Doctor of Optometry, she practiced full scope optometry in Cornwall, Ontario for several years. She completed her residency in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. 

Dr. Jhajj is the Director of Vision Screenings for the college. She organizes and administers vision screenings for students attending Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) and screenings within the community.  Dr. Jhajj is also a clinical supervisor at the Eye Care Institute at Nova Southeastern University. Her interests include pediatrics, binocular vision, vision therapy, vision-related learning conditions, primary care, and traumatic brain injury. She teaches in laboratory learning for 3rd and 4th year students, and is responsible for the didactic learning for students in their pediatric clinical rotation. She has lectured nationally and internationally for optometrists. 

She is an active researcher and served as an investigator in the Convergence Insufficiency Treatment Trial- Attention and Reading Trial (CITT-ART), and multiple Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group (PEDIG) studies. She is a fellow with the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD).
