Welcome to the Master of Science in Clinical Vision Research (CVR) Graduate Program at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Optometry. Our program is designed to educate and train health care professionals to conduct clinical research in either a patient care or academic setting. Our ultimate goal is to equip these professionals with the tools they need to conduct impactful clinical research. Curriculum
NSU’s College of Optometry offers options that can help you start a career, change direction mid-career, or enhance your skills in your area of specialty. Our faculty members are nationally recognized scholars with expertise in teaching, research, and scholarship.
The MSCVR program, which includes a thesis, is a 45-credit degree program designed according to the student's interest. Each student has an adviser who guides the student's thesis project. The program can be completed in two years on an intensive basis or up to six years on a part-time basis.
Additionally, students can combine the MSCVR program with the professional degree program to earn both degrees in five calendar years at the College of Optometry.

Graduate Certificate Option
The certificate option is designed to fulfill all core course requirements for the Masters of Science degree as defined by the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges. Students completing the certificate option may, upon acceptance, transfer all courses successfully completed to any track of the Master of Science in Clinical Vision Research Program.
