Our Faculty and Staff

Dr. Gregory M. Fecho graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2001. Following graduation, he completed a one-year residency program at Nova Southeastern University in Primary Care with emphasis in pediatrics and binocular vision. Dr. Fecho has since been a full-time faculty member at Nova Southeastern University, where he currently holds the rank of Associate Professor. 

Dr. Fecho is currently course instructor of the Anomalies of Binocular Vision 1 Course and laboratories emphasizing accommodative, ocular motor, and heterophoric conditions, Optometric Theory and Methods 1 course with laboratories, and the Optometry Simulation Laboratory which utilizes augmented reality medical simulators to teach students crucial procedures needed for their profession. Dr. Fecho also teaches students and residents in the primary care, pediatrics/binocular vision, and vision therapy clinics. 

His current research interests include the use and effectiveness of technology in Optometric education as well as research interests in accommodation, binocular vision, and vision therapy. In 2017, he was a recipient of the Dr. Lester Janoff Award for Writing Excellence for a collaborative research paper “Assessing Student Performance in Geometrical Optics Using Two Different Assessment Tools: Tablet and Paper.”
