Annette Bade, O.D., M.S., FAAO is an associate professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. Since the beginning of her academic career, she has focused on research and has served as the Clinical Research Coordinator and Co-investigator for various nationally funded research grants. She also has served on the Institutional Review Board as a representative and director. Collaboration with students and faculty has resulted in numerous posters and publications. In 2010, she was selected to attend the AOA/AAO Invitational Clinical Research Institute.
Dr. Bade is a longstanding member of the American Optometric Association, and Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. She is the past-president of the Broward County Optometric Association. Dr. Bade was selected by the Texas Optometric Association as the Young Optometrist of the Year, and twice received their President’s Award. Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry Alumni Chapter named her as the recipient of the Alumni Award of Excellence in 2007.
