Jessica Steen, O.D., FAAO is an attending optometric physician and instructor of ocular pharmacology at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. Dr. Steen received her optometric degree from the University of Waterloo with Honors and completed her residency in Primary Care with Emphasis in Ocular Disease at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Steen’s main clinical interests include neuro-ophthalmic, retinal and anterior segment disease with emphasis in medical and surgical management.
Dr. Steen’s research interests include retinal imaging modalities in neuro-ophthalmic disease. She is a peer-reviewed published author in the field of retinal disease and retinal oncology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and serves the position of Trustee on the Board of the Palm Beach County Optometric Association. Dr. Steen was voted “Preceptor of the Year” by the Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry Class of 2017 and is an invited guest lecturer for the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Physician Assistants Program at Nova Southeastern University.
