Dr. Felicia Timmermann obtained her undergraduate education from Saint Louis University and earned her optometric degree with honors from the Illinois College of Optometry. She then completed a residency in pediatric optometry at Cincinnati
Children’s Hospital Medical Center in the division of pediatric ophthalmology. She is a full-time faculty member and holds the rank of Assistant Professor.
Dr. Timmermann serves as the Chief of The Eye Care Institute at KID and is a clinical attending physician in the primary care service and pediatric and binocular vision services. She is a research investigator for the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator
Group (PEDIG), a member and fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and a member of the World Council of Optometry (WCO). She has presented poster publications at the College of Optometrists in Vision Development meetings and the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Timmermann’s clinical interests include strabismus, amblyopia, and pediatric eye disease and visual conditions. Additionally, she has a strong interest in global health research.
