Dr. Heidi Wagner Dr. Heidi Wagner was graduated from the Ohio State University (TOSU) College of Optometry in 1986. She completed a certificate in public health at George Washington University in 2002 and is currently completing requirements for a Masters in Public Health at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst . Following her optometric graduation, she entered private practice. While in private practice she also served as a part-time clinical instructor at TOSU and as a staff optometrist in a multidisciplinary practice setting. She joined the full-time faculty of Nova Southeastern University (formerly Southeastern University of the Health Sciences) in 1993, where she currently holds the rank of Associate Professor. She is a Diplomate in the Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the American Academy of Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Contact Lens Educators, the International Association of Contact Lens Educators, the American Optometric Association, and the American Public Health Association. She is the president of the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry Clinic Directors Group. She is the principal investigator of the Nova Southeastern CLEK (Collaborative Longitudinal Evaluation of Keratoconus) Participating Clinic. Her current research interests include the cornea and contact lenses.She currently serves as instructor of record for a two-semester contact lens course and supervises students and residents in the Cornea and Contact Lens Service. She serves as the Chair of the Department of Clinics.
