Rachel Anastasia "Stacey" Coulter, OD Rachel Anastasia "Stacey" Coulter, OD, graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) in 1991. Following graduation, she completed a residency in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy at PCO. In 1992, she joined the faculty at NSU. From 1995 to 1999, she served as the Chief of the Pediatric Optometry service. She also taught the course Pediatric Optometry and served as residency supervisor of the Pediatric Optometry residency program. She is a Diplomate in Binocular Vision and Perception and Board Certified in Vision Therapy by the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. Dr. Coulter currently serves Chair of the Children's Vision Committee for the Florida Optometric Association and Vice Chair of the Clinical Diplomates of the Pediatric Optometry and Binocular Vision Section of the American Academy of Optometry. She is also a member of the Nominating Committee of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Coulter has written articles and presented multiple papers and continuing education lectures covering the topics of binocular vision and pediatric optometry. She has twice received the NSU President's Faculty Scholarship Award twice. She has served as a reviewer for the journals Optometry and Vision Science and Ophthalmic and Physiologic Optics. Currently, she serves as Chair of the department of Optometric Sciences, residency supervisor for the Pediatric Optometry residency, and course instructor for the course Pediatric Optometry and Optometric Management of Learning-Related Vision Problems.
