The 2017 Orlando Super Weekend promises to be our most exciting ever! It is a must-attend meeting with excellent speakers who will speak on timely topics which will enhance your knowledge and skills.
Our keynote speakers for the weekend are Drs. David Kading, Jeffrey Sonsino and Diana Shechtman. Dr. Kading practices in Seattle, WA. He is a nationally recognized speaker, having performed hundreds of lectures both nationally and internationally. Dr. Kading publishes extensively on topics including dry eye disease, contact lenses, and practice management and is a key opinion leader for several eye care manufacturers. Dr. Sonsino practices in Nashville, TN. He is a diplomate of the Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the AAO and is the chairman of the Contact Lens and Cornea Section of the AOA. He lectures and publishes extensively on cornea and contact lenses.
Dr. Shechtman is a Full Professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry (NSUCO), where she serves as the Coordinator of the Diabetes and Macula Service and the Director of Interdisciplinary Education. She is a nationally recognized speaker with numerous publications on retinal disease. Dr. Mickles is an Associate Professor at NSUCO where she serves as the Coordinator of the Dry Eye Service and the Instructor of Record of the Advanced Contact Lens Course. She is a rising star who lectures and publishes on variety of topics with special interest in contact lenses and dry eye disease.
The Nova Southeastern Campus in Orlando is in very close proximity to the Millennium Mall. You will see it on the frontage road to I-4 and close to Universal Studios.
Transcript Quality Testing Pre-Event Rate $75, covers 3 or more exams. If you only need 1-2 exams you can pay post event at the rate of $30 per exam.

There will be no refund if you do not attend the program or do not notify us in advance. As a reminder, compliance with Board guidelines requires punctual attendance for CE credit. Those persons who do not arrive on time for a course will not receive credit. The Florida Board of Optometry states in Chapter 64B13-5.001 (1): “Credit will be allowed on the basis of an hour for hour. To receive one hour credit, a licensed practitioner must attend not less than 50 minutes.”
Please Note: All attendees must be registered to attend the college's CE programs and courses. Due to insurance and liability issues, children are not allowed in the lecture halls.
