Please join us for a day of COPE & Florida approved continuing education in Orlando, Florida at Nova Southeastern University’s satellite campus. This “Super Sunday” will feature lectures that are practice and case-based, including personal experiences from our speakers, Drs. Roxanne Achong-Coan, Thuy-Lan Nguyen and Julie Tyler.
Dr. Achong-Coan is a CL residency trained optometrist in private practice who will address contact lens solutions for corneal casualities and catastrophies. Dr. Thuy-Lan Nguyen will start the day discussing some practice management considerations based on how Millennials interact within our optometric practices and then she will be joined by Dr. Julie Tyler to discuss a variety of interesting cases, diagnoses and managements that are “Straight Outta South Florida”. Finally, Dr. Tyler will close the conference discussing various cases in a lecture titled “Trauma Drama” – presentations of ocular injuries, in some cases with unique considerations. The final six hours of the day will be available for Transcript Quality (TQ) credit.
The Nova Southeastern Campus in Orlando is in very close proximity to the Millennium Mall. You will see it on the frontage road to I-4. If you are considering vacationing while here it is close to Universal Studios.
